We believe in always being 100% transparent. We are open and honest about our company charges, we always arrive at a customer’s property on-time and provide a quality service each time. We have a clear, upfront and honest pricing system. Our rates are clearly shown on our website and our 24-hour local call centre staff will make customers fully aware of our rates at the time they book their job. Our engineers will always make charges clear and a comprehensive description of work carried out and a full breakdown of labour and material charges are shown on all estimates and invoices.

In addition to clear charges there is no call out charge, customers are not charged for travelling time, parking, the Congestion Charge and there are no other hidden charges.

Overcharging

We always charge correctly and fairly for our work and our policy on overcharging is unequivocal but in the unlikely event that any of our engineers ever do disregard this policy they will be dismissed. Any discrepancies concerning overcharging for work completed will be dealt with immediately and if it is found that a customer has been overcharged a full refund for this amount will be given.

Victory Electrical Services will never carry out any unnecessary work or talk customers into any work that is not needed under any circumstances.

Accountability

Victory Electrical Services will always take responsibility in the unlikely event that work is not carried out to our high standards. If you are unhappy we are will listen to your concerns and if the problem cannot be resolved over the telephone or in writing an appointment will be made for an engineer or Technical Service Manager to make a follow up visit, at a time that is convenient to you. An inspection of the work will be carried out and any necessary remedial work will be undertaken.

They are clearly stated and set out on our website and on the back of invoices so that you are fully informed before entering into an agreement with us. For your convenience we accept the following payment methods: Cheque All cheques to be made payable to Victory Electrical Services only on receipt of invoice and given to the engineer Cash All cash payments for works carried out to be made to the engineer only on receipt of invoice.

There is no charge for processing Credit/Debit cards. We accept the following Credit/ Debit cards: Customers can either pay using our safe and secure portable chip and pin credit card machines at their property on completion of the job or their details can be taken by our engineers and the payment processed by our accounts team.

Portable Chip and Pin Credit Card Machines, We are committed to providing a quality service and our top of the range portable chip and pin machines provide us with a valuable tool in the back of our vans to help us do this. The portable chip and pin machines provide a safe, secure and convenient way for you to pay for your plumbing and heating and other maintenance services, in the comfort of your own home, on receipt of invoice, once your job is completed. The wireless terminals are accredited by all major United Kingdom’s banks and provide the highest level of payment security. They make it possible to process transactions and obtain a banking authorisation within a matter of seconds.

Our engineer will carry out the transaction right in front of you and ask you to enter your 4 digit pin number into the user friendly machine that features a large backlit display window. The ultra fast printer allows our engineer to produce your receipt almost instantly.

Our state of the art secure chip and pin machines are a very popular way to pay among our customers and they are a great tool for really driving Victory Electrical Services forward and we also do wired bank transfer. Overcharging

Victory Electrical Services has an unequivocal policy on overcharging – we won’t tolerate it under any circumstances, and any operative disregarding our policy will be dismissed. We rely on the recommendations of satisfied customers so it is vital that we charge correctly and fairly for our work. Customers come back to us repeatedly because of the relationship of trust between us.

If any of our customers feel we have not met the high standards we aspire to, then we would like them to make us aware. If you feel our operatives have not met any of the following criteria please contact us.

Victory Electrical Services will:

  • Only charge for time spent at a job and the number of hours worked. Our vehicles are fitted with a data tracking system veryfing times.
  • Not charge the customer for excessive and unreasonable time spent collecting materials, if collection time is likely to exceed 60 minutes it must be agreed with the customer.
  • Not charge an excessive trade markup on materials – a maximum of up to 20% is company policy.
  • Not charge for two tradesmen on two-handed work unless necessary – an apprentice or labourer will be used wherever possible.
  • Not charge for non-work related phone calls, or engage in them during working time.
  • Not charge for tea and lunch breaks.
  • Not charge for any wasted or unnecessary time when undertaking your work.
  • Not charge for unnecessary time spent away from the job, and always keep customer informed when you are leaving the job.
  • Present an invoice showing a clear and comprehensive description of work carried out and a full breakdown of labour and material charges upon the completion of your job.
  • Make sure that the cost of any fixed price work is within 10% of that which the job would have cost if it had been charged at our hourly rates.
  • Make sure that any estimated work that is costed at our day rate (10 hours) is charged at a 10% discount on labour.
  • Make sure that we work a full 10 hour day when on a day rate.
  • Not carry out any unnecessary work.
  • Not talk customers into any work that is not needed.
  • Not overcharge customers under any circumstances.

Account Facilities

Victory Electricals offers account facilities to domestic and business customers that use us on a regular basis. Our accounting procedure is very straight forward and it is a much more convenient, easy and quick way to pay for your plumbing and heating and other maintenance services. We have a dedicated accounts team to deal with all enquiries and accounts facilities. All account facilities are subject to terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions of Account Facilities

  • Strictly 30 day credit available from date of invoice.
  • Monthly itemised invoicing.
  • A strict £1,000 credit limit is available.
  • Credit facilities will only be granted to those that have used Victory Electrical Services over a long period of time and
    on a regular basis.
  • Credit checks will be carried out and acceptance is subject to receipt of satisfactory references and approval.
  • Victory Electrical Services reserves the right to withdraw credit facilities if the account becomes overdue or the
    monthly credit limit is exceeded.
  • Personal information is held in strict confidence and not passed onto other organisations except for credit purposes.
  • No preferential rates are available to customers with account facilities.
